Ok, the 55 Buick Super is finally back in one piece, although It has some issues. Main Challeneg for now....
When the car starts up.. it start up well and Idles well I can go under the hood and Rev the engine and it Revs find... I jump in to the car and put in Drive and then drive for about a block and then it dies... I put it in start Or Park and push the start switch and it usually starts right up, back to drive and then it dies again... I am thinking Vapor lock because when under the hood it will Idle well and Rev up find.
I do have rubber fuel lines currently, awaiting Metal Or will make metal lines Any thoughts I am lost??

Problem possibilities: fuel pressure, vacuum at carb, timing or other iginition issues...probably not vapor lock which will occur after running a long time to get it real hot and then after being stuck in traffic or after a gas stop.
