Any body looking for a 65 GS parts car email me and I will give you the number of a guy in Coatsville PA that has one for sale. I thought that I could make a driver out of it and went today to look at it. The quaters are gone, so is the trunk and the passenger side floor, ( could not tell on the drivers side) Frame under the drivers side has a hole in it. Has some good parts, the car is a numbers matching, with orginal motor. Seats are not to bad, good console with shifter and tach, decent dash except for the dash pad. Steering wheel cracked but horn button ok. Bumpers are decent, seem straight and would chrome nicely. Grille is not to bad. The guy had some boxes in the car full of odd parts. Drivers side fender is no good but passenger side is not bad, hood is no good, core support is not rusted and inner fenders seem to be solid. The guy wants 1500 for it, but I think that is too much, could maybe get him to come down!

Any body want the number email and I will give you his number!

Hi Doug, I was hoping that you would see this post, I think that this car is one you would be intrested in! Automatic, Sedan and the original motoer is all there. A/C with power windows, The guy said that the motor runs. The only thing I could see missing under the hood was the engine fan. I was surprised by the condition of the seats, considering the shape of the outside of the car. Just a couple of small tears in the front. The rear looked looked like it did not have any rips. There were some boxs in the car with odd ball parts in them. The guy said that the air cleaner was in the trunk, I do not know if there were any other parts in there, the trunk lock cylinder was missing and I did not open it. If you want the guys phone number let me know.

    Talk to you soon

Its is a shame to see a car in this state, made my wife want to cry! I forgot my camera, next time I will not forget it. I really think that the guy would come down on the price, but it is too much of a project for me.

I think this is the same guy that had the car listed as parts in the auto trader. I called the guy about the 65 GS which he said that the only reason he bought this car was for some parts to finish off he frame off. Not sure if its the same guy. Paul, do you remember seeing any missing dash pieces? I remember this gentleman telling me that there were some chrome pieces that he took off the car.

John, I know that the chrome trim on the sides of the bucket seats were missing, the dash looked complete except for the emblem on the glove box door. There were some wires hanging down under the drivers side dash, looked like he may haxe pulled something from under the dash. The radio was still there, cluster and all of the a/c heater controls were there. The dash pad was junk! He told me that the car was from Canada and he had bought it for a parts car , to finish off a conv. that he restored.
