Just got off the phone with Mike Tomaszweski.. he and Dave are working late getting the finishing touches accomplished on the Wagon..

Mike called me to tell me that he got a call from Fred Catlin today.. and Fred will be bringing his old Kenne-Bell sponsored '69 GS to the nats.. as long as they don't hit any snags, as the motor is going back into that right now too.

For those of you who don't know, this is the car that Mike T and Dave Mongeon (back then with his '69 "Nobody's Fool" car) used to match race all the time at the GSCA Nationals, back in the late 80's and early 90's. It was the TA vs. KB rivalry, which lasted a number of years.

So there is another piece of Buick racing History to come and and watch at the BPG nats.. that car has not been out in the daylight for a long time now.. it's cool that Fred decided to get it back together.

And thanks to Mike for lighting the fire under him again!

7 days and counting now... weather looks perfect, and this deal is really starting to shape up now..

Now I have to go back to work.. setting up the linkage on the new tunnel ram on Sweesy's tube chassis GS..

Can't wait for some late evening passes in the 60 degree air..

    See ya there~!

That is so very cool, Jim! It will be like old times again-Just like the GS Nationals back in the 1980's; when we were crowded up to the fence, and watching these two cars battle it out-man,what a blast!!!

It will be great to see everyone at the meet as they were years ago!!!!!! :TU:
