Just had this submitted and by the time I get around to featuring cars on the site these days...well let's just say I couldn't wait that long to show you. Don't know about you guys but this photo (there are others but they'll have to wait for the feature on BuickStreet) made my day...possible my week. I'm sure that Jon won't mind.

Yep, pretty much word for word my reaction too. lol

Can you guess the car it's in? Not much to go on but I'll give you a clue. It's not a Buick.

    Guess?

Man, slim pickins on the clue's to figuring out the car Bill.

Guess I'll give it a shot though.

Let's see.... appears to be a 1960's vintage aftermarket steering wheel. No help there.

    60's Sun Tach? Another no

The cowl is obviously a custom, so nothing there either.

    Ok, so that leaves
    #1 Vent windows
    #2 Split front windshield
#3 Gold block paint on a Buick Motor
    #4 1940 ish fender
    #5 Opposite direction windshield wipers

    All that in mind...................

I'll guess a 1949 Oldsmobile. It has the vent windows, the split front windshield, the same fender lines (what little I can see
    )
AND Oldsmobiles motor's were painted gold back then.

Watch me be way off, but what the heck, it's just a guess.

Thanks for the cool picture though Bill.

Close. Soooo close. Nope it's not a Olds.

One more round of clues before I post a pic.

These cars were popular as 'gassers' in the 60's. Typically wore no front bumper and had straight axles and nose bleed front-up stances.

Oh yeh? It wouldn't happen to be a 1950 Olds 88 Coupe by chance would it?:puzzled:

Seems like I have seen one of those "somewhere"

It wouldn't "happen" to be the one listed under your vehicles you own would it?

    You almost "got me".

The Olds is tore apart waiting for some new inner fennders and a few more engine mods. The trans has been rebuilt and Bruce hunter loaned me a 10" converter to try out in it. I just finished rebiulding the gas tank with an internal pump and sump. That's about it at the moment. It sure seems this stuff goes alot slower than it should!
