I sold GM's back in 1979 and had one of these for a demo. I hope no one gets the idea that they had the performance of a GN cause they're not even close. It was kind of a gimmicky car in that it had a hood turbo indicator..green light = no boost, yellow light = some boost and red light = full boost. Back in those good old days the trick was to try to get all three lights on at the same time! Yes its a turbo Buick much the same as the 1980 turbo Trans Am. A lot of hissing and noise but not much fight.

  3. I predict zero bids at a $5300 opening. I wonder how he got a "new" interior??

Oh, I forgot to ad, this car should be worth a little more money than what is bidded on it now, especially with the mileage and shape that it's in. If I had the money, that would be the car I would buy. It's a good deal.

I don't know, but If you check over the internet, you don't find a 76 buick hurst, Ive looked all over the net, and can't find one, but i have heard that hurst has worked on different years of buicks, but I don't know if thats true or not either???? :Do No:
But that 76 is cool anyway, so I would buy it.:TU:

    hurst for GM

I know that oldsmobile's were the most popular car when it came to hurst shifters, but I know that you can get a hurst shifter in any older GM car. My grandpa said back in 1973, he test drove a 73 olds 442 with a hurst shifter, but he said it was a pricey car, and instead, bought a used 1969 chevelle ss 396 with a hurst shifter, but the dealer said the first owner put it in after he bought it, so it wasn't a factory hurst car. but he said the hurst "T" handle was the easiest and quickest shifter he had. But they also make shifters for automatics, so thats good. Hurst buicks?? nobody seems to recall any hurst buicks, but if anyone knows any info, it would be nice if you could give us some info.

    Re: Look at this beauty...............!!!!!!

    That's a neat car. :)

At first, I thought it had running boards on it though! :eek2:
I had to look at several pictures closely before I realized it was the mud flaps and tire tracks in the snow creating the illusion.

My car has the same kind of mudflaps on it. I think they look kinda cool, cause they are metal. I would like to know where you can get them mudflaps at, but I don't really know. The two flaps on the back are bad and bent up, but the two on the front are ok. But yeah, that 76 is neat, even if that guy is stretching the truth a bit, it's still worth the money I think. what I would like to know is where them buick Hubcaps came from???:Do No: them are rare! :Smarty:
