I had this in "The Bench" earlier. But it will stay here longer. This was the Mattel Hot WHeels Lowrider Riviera. I stripped the paint and re-painted it a GM sand Metallic. I took the wheels off of a Johnny Lightning Dodge L'il Red express truck. The results are pleasing and it only took an hour to do do. :TU:

    Looks great Dan. :TU:
I have to ask... how do you switch the wheels on those cars?

I have a Marge Simpson station wagon around here some place, it could use some new rims, maybe a new coat of paint... the orange does nothing for me.

Best to have a Dremel. Getting wheels out of a Johnny Lightning car is tough. Die cast cars are fun to work on cause you can get quick results, especially if you use laquer. Now I can turn that paint job into a mirror finsih, but that would add like three hours time.

Now Da Wagon will take me years to complete :Dou:
