It is starting to get interesting. Obviously the 2 best teams in each conference are Indy/Pats in the AFC, and NO/Minn in the NFC.
As a sorta/kinda NFL historian, I was noticing cornerback sizes on any team in the 1960's in one of my books last night. About 6-0 to 6'1" was the average then. WTH are my Falcons signing cornerbacks that are 5-9 and play 5'6"?????

WOW! The Saints are better than I gave them credit for. I think they will beat Minn in NFCC and play Indy or Pittsburgh in the SB. Some may think I'm crazy for saying Pittsburgh at this point in the season. They are the most banged up team in the league right now. They have 4-6 starters missing every week. They will be tough once healthy. I think the Saints will slip one week and be 15-1 though.

How cool would it be to have two unbeaten teams play in the Super Bowl???:bglasses: :beer

Good for me anyway. I took the Saints! :TU: Not so good for Pats fans. I don't know if my Cowboys have a chance against Nawlins either, but maybe they'll have a bad game that day. :TU:

The Cowboys aren't playing on the same level as the Saints right now, that's for sure. But the Cowboys haven't really played their best an entire game all season. If they can get all their ducks in a row and play a consistent game like the Saints do, then they'll have a chance.

Add to that these possible factors:
    (1) The Cowboys will be fighting for a spot in the playoffs.
    (2) The Saints may be wanting to avoid injuries that could hurt them in the playoffs.
    (3) The odds of going undefeated an entire season are stacking up the later it gets.
    (4) The fact that anything can happen on game day (turnovers, penalties, injuries, etc.)

. . . the Cowboys could walk out of the Superdome with a win.

    No bets. Dont ask.

Sorry boys, no showdown of two undefeated teams in the SB.
Indy will have to face San Diego in the post season. San Diego's knocked Indy out two seasons in a row now and was the team to give them their first loss when they were 10-0? a few years back.

Indy just doesn't seem to be able to beat San Diego, just like san Diego can't seem to get past Pitt or NE.

Only way for it to happen is if somebody else knocks San Diego out for Indy.
But my Chargers are looking good. We're at least going to be making an appearance in the AFC Championship game, and hopfully facing the Saints in the SB. It'd be interesting to see Brees play in the SB against the team that released him and the QB he mentored a few years ago.

    GOBOLTS!

I would like to see Philip Rivers get his chance...But...SD must get a home game if they have to play the Bengals or the Pats. The cold weather is just too much to overcome! History has proven this on many occasions.
The Saints really look good. But the Vikings are just as good, and are the most physical team in the NFL. I look forward to this post-season!

    Watched the game..

Saints are impressive, but they better shore up that run defense before the Vikings come to town, or it's going to be a long day for you guys..

Pats got into a shootout with them, and Brady was off last night. Missed several easy touchdown throws.

And their defense is a "work in progress".

But the Saints played well, were on target, and played with emotion. It was a convincing win for them.

Enjoy it while you can, cause the purple gang will be on the other side of the line here shortly, and that will be a much tougher test for you guys.

That 40 year old QB of ours is having another MVP year. I think your inexperienced corners, and the old timers in the secondary, won't fare quite as well as they did last night.

And I wouldn't bank on your QB having that much time to throw, and you can pretty much forget running against us.

Shaping up to be a good game, as long as both teams don't stumble between now and Championship weekend..

boy did the pats stink it up :ball: i will always have faith in my team but when they don't come up and beat a good team in the regular season it is frustrating. oh well, the giants did it this way in 07 and we were their victims.

That was a fun game to watch last night. The Saints looked about as good as I've seen a team play in quite awhile.

It's kinda fun to watch the Pats lose these days:laugh:

I'm hoping the Eagles get their offensive line in order. Maybe they will get to meet the Saints in the playoffs... :eek2:

I think Farve is a great QB, but his career will end in N.O. Our rushing defense has been suspect most of the year. We allowed several 200 yd. rushers, but no losses yet.WE just step it up a notch.:) Our defense has it's second string in and re-signed folks who haven't played in a year. What happens? Interceptions!:eek2: Eli,Brady,Romo,Farve-just guys who will be victims of our march this year to Peyton. :TU:

Now if this paperwork will start going through for the house loan, I might have the $ in time for Miami!!!!!!! (the $,not making it. THATS a gonna happen!!)
