The Near Ultimate In 64 Buick Skylark Parts...

  1. *******A MUST READ FOR 1964 BUICK SKYLARK ENTHUSIASTS*******

It may severely affect you buying a car or restoring one.

ALRIGHT, I'VE come to grips with the fact that I will not be able to restore Whitey as he was abducted some time ago-those dog gone thieves will pay,..karma is a mother f..ker.. Not to mention, I have run out of options in finding a suitable replacement at a decent price to continue my efforts in building a top of the line SHOW QUALITY 1964 Buick Skylark. Therefore, I have to part with my QUALITY, PRESTINE, NOS, parts. Below is a partial list of what I have.

    1) 1 Complete PST SUPER DUPER DELUXE POLYGRAPHITE SUSPENSION PACKAGE-Front End --- ALREADY SOLD

    2) 1 Set of sway bars. Front and Rear Hotchkis Performance SWAY BARS -----ALREADY SOLD

    3) 1 Rear winshield ***rare*** (TRY finding one at your local wrecking yard) $275 out the door

    4) 1 IMMACULATE ALL ORIGINAL-only been touched by the actual manufacturer, its prior owner and me, DASH PAD. ( How many of you-my fellow Buick brothers and sisters, have cracks or funkdafied dash pads..?) $200 out the door

    5) 1 Complete BRAND NEW looking BEAUTIFUL gauge cluster unit with fully operational gauges-speedo, gas, odometer, etc... . (Does not include the separate heater/AC unit located separately next door to it) I also have a seperate NOS clock in the GM box ready to go in the cluster. $250 o.b.o

    6) 1. NEVER BEEN TOUCHED-except by me, the manufacturer, and prior owner, NOS set of T-3 front headlights with actual mounting units-IN THE ORIGINAL GM or AC DELCO box. Mounting units are black and look as if they came off the production line yesterday-the paint still looks fresh. If you ever looked at someone changing there headlights after they take the bulbs off..? Then you've seen just how unsightly these units can appear-Unless obviously they spent their hard earned dollars doing a complete off frame resto. Even then, the workmanship-in my opinion and in that of that of many others, would not compare to a brand new set of mounting units-especially with NOS original T-3 light bulbs-both regular and high beam. Alleviate this problem today. Light bulbs to stay with me..Units to be sold for together for $250 or best offer.

    7) 1 Rechromed front bumper. (90% SHOW QUALITY) -ALREADY SOLD

    8) 1 Set of beed blasted and primered air vents. $65 out the door.

    9) 1 VERY GOOD LOOKING Grill. $325 out the door or best offer.

    10) 1 SUPER CLEAN body piece. Better said, it's the piece that's in between the hood and the front windshield. (This piece was stripped, primered, and painted; so you have to change the color) $75 or best price

    11) AND MUCH MUCH MORE. . .. like a complete set weather stripping-EVERY PIECE NEEDED, window cranks, body moldings, original front brake set-up w/master cylinder, rear driver side roll down window-with attached weather stripping, rear bumper etc. etc. etc. etc. . .

    12) 350 motor w/ TA Intake and Holly 450cc carb. Sorry no headers, I already sold them. $675 or best offer.

It really hurt describing the parts I have for sale. . .I think I might go to the bar and reminisce for bit. BUT, its time. This Christmas season will be a great one for some lucky enthusiast. At least I ain't parting with my two sets of ORIGINAL and VERY CHERRY Buick wire wheel hubcaps and doggie dish caps. NO WAY JOSE.. Don't ever think of asking me either. I've seen the most composed and manly of men salivate over those precious and highly desirable wheel accessories. There just TOO AWSOME, TOO RARE and part of this great nations history.

With all this being said, I AM SELLING..THERE'S NO QUESTION about it. Make offers I can not refuse...I will also consider SELLING EVERYTHING TO ONE INDIVIDUAL AS WELL. That way, one person gets to enjoy and show off the goods-and that way I only have to feel the pain one time. Not to mention, it will be at a slight discounted price as well.

So call me, or forever hold off on building the son you've always wanted to hold, cherish, and drive-or even sleep in. BELIEVE ME, there's no feeling like building a great looking car that you get to enjoy over and over again to your hearts content.

  8. Hey Pat,

I now have only a partial weather stripping kit. I sold a bunch of moldings and trim to this father and son who are doing a project together here locally-actually about an hour away from where I live. And YES they actually drove to see me. Anyhow, I had to juice-in up the deal as I was unable to locate a passenger side window trim piece they wanted. So I threw in some weather stripping pieces. Now I paid over $550 for the complete set up-attached is a picture of what I had. They took about 3 pieces. What I can do for you is go back to storage on Tuesday or Wednesday and take inventory of whats left, take pictures, then we can work out a price that's ridiculously good for you. Maybe $40% off retail. Possibly 50% off. How does that sound..? This way, which ever pieces you need to still go and buy, will only cost you full price. The rest you'll be getting at a killer price. Let me know and have a good one brother..

  9. Doug,

Hey Brother..The deal with he motor is that I was going to slap it in my 64, but Whitey was kidnapped. The body work was SO GOOD on the car, they towed him away. I searched over 12 tow yards and about 40+ body and mechanic shops in the Mid and Northern Peninsula. The manhunt for Whitey lasted ten days. Me and to of my brothers helped out in the search. Basically those A..holes got away with a beauty of a shell, a turbo 350 trans, and the front disc set-up. DAMMM..At least 12 bolt posi wasn't in there, nor the motor, nor any other of the things I spent over three whole years looking for. Anyways, miles wise I beleive there to be about 38k on the rebuild. I had a 69 Skylark that was ALL ORIGINAL IN PRISTINE condition. The buyer said he did not want the motor as he was going to upgrade to the 455 stage1 set up. I didn't keep the tranny as it was a two speed powerglide-BORING right..? His goal was to make it look like a stock Skylark but in reality have a rubber burning KICK-ASS cruiser to ride around in. Yes, it has a 450cc four barrell Holly on it-95% sure of this. As mentioned, it came off a 69 Skylark I use to own. I'M in S.F., but the motor is in South San Francisco at my buddies shop. For toppers, I will also incude ALL brackets, pulleys, etc. I can send you pictures on Monday or so..let me know..

  14. Brian,

Well, I'd say its in the 90th percentile in being show quality. I have a couple of pictures for you off hand.-don't let those dirty headlight mounting units fool you. Not to mention, I didn't even polish the grill prior to taking photos-I was out of Mothers creme. For additional pictures, I'm going to my storage on Tues. or Wed. i'll take off those dirty units and polish her up. then you'll see the gleam and promise of the grill. Tell me what you think. Thanks for your interest.
