I would register there so that you do get in, just in case it dont get the right people notified in time. Wont cost anymore to register for the club then as now .....
Well, I contacted the GSCA for advice on paying dues. They told me to call John Chamberlain and talk to him. I can't reach him, so I will take the advice of some here and wait to pay at the gate. I had heard stories of people getting turned away at the gates of some functions because they were not members of the hosting organization. Hope that doesn't happen at BG. I want to bring the car in and run it down the track a few times. What's it going to cost me? Thanks
Bg John -- I left you a message yesterday after you left a message on my machine. Did you not get it? Yes, I would just join the club when you get there at this late date. You do not have to be a member to spectate, just to show or race. Your GSCA member number is your car number, that's the easiest way to keep track of everyone. See you there! John Chamberlain
John, I read your message and have a question. Is Friday not a good day to come and run my car a few trips down the track? I can only come one day and Friday was the best day for me. Also, the car show is that day isn't it? If I can't run the car, then maybe I had better come earlier in the week. Thanks
Friday racing John, there will be racing after 2:00 on Friday but it will be a lot of qualifying and such. You probably could get a few runs in but I would check in with Nick, our race director to be sure. ( ArizonaGN@earthlink.net ) If you are entering the car show, the "Guess your ET" race for them is at 2:00 Friday whereby you can get one pass in and guess your ET. That's a start! JKC
