Almost, and I use that term with some artistic license, the new shop is getting ready for its' winter tenant. The BAD LAD gets to go smack dab in the middle so both doors can swing wide open for a little interior work. Theres plenty-o-room around the front for a timing chain (and extras) job and maybe even that POSI job Ive been dreaming about.

The chopper gets the other garage for a transmission job with a shaft seal and the "Got Snow?" machine is ready to go. The canvas job was the best $10 I ever spent at a garage sale!

USPS guy delivered my Christmas present early too... Best deal on a new set of chrome lids for the 455 with rubber FELPRO gaskets and chrome hardware stuff for $99 including the box from RestoMods on Long Island. Cant wait to dress the old gal up a bit! Then I can clean and paint the floor in the summer sanctuary. ws

I hear ya Bill!!! My pole barn where the Buick(s) live is my happy place!! Despite the trials and tribulations I've gone through during the epic thrash on the hulk, when I go out there I can tune out the world and just be in my bubble for a while. I love it. It's definitely my "fortress of solitude"!!!

Thanks Geoff... Got yer email and just haven't had a spare moment to reply... Ill get with you later today and play catch-up. Getting ready to move a spare propane (150K torpedo) heater, bench, and a parts washer and arrange some more stuff today. Getting pretty frosty in the mornings around here as of late. Big chunks of frost are on their way soon! ws
