There are a couple of threads on DFWstangs.net on a get together at Texas Raceway in Kennedale on Oct. 24, this a Sunday race the week before the big Ford vs Buick race in Noble, Oklahoma. The Ford guys have posted on the Turbo Board inviting the Buicks to come out and play I thought it would be nice to have some V8 Buicks kick there a$$ as well :laugh: The gates are going to open around 12:30 or 1pm, it's only $10.00 to race that's a cheap price to pay to kick some Ford Butt! Im going to the OK race already cant do both but we need a few more 9 second buicks to make the fords suffer!!!
I'm all for that! I know of a couple 9 sec cars from the DFW area but the rest are all high 10's to 12's. But we'll all be ready. If the Buicks dominate the 11 to 13 sec range though we'll win the event. :3gears:
doing the math after last year if 3 more cars from 8-10 flat were to be in the buiick side we would dominate the whole thing even worse than we did last year..... :3gears:
No doubt about it. The 2 years before last year we beat ourselves more often than the Fords beat us, I can't count how many red light starts there were for the Buick camp last year was much better and we won. If we just run our own race and do what we should do in the 10 to 12 sec range it won't matter if there last few are faster than our last few because it won't be enough to catch up. And I'm in that 12 sec range and will be going for my 5th consective win in the finals. :3gears: :laugh:
