We finaly got fed up, and went to get our truck today. We are gonna take it to a shop up town, that we have done business with before. Anyway, this time we got a sheriffs deputy with us. The dash was still took apart, and it wasn't running. The cop wrote him up for criminal destruction. We had to pay the remaining $150 to get it back, but we are taking him to court to get every last penny of our money back, then more.
Good to hear that you got it back. After the other shop gets it put back together make sure to get your lawyer to send him the bill.
Oh, don't worry about that. The cop had the guy pay the tow truck bill yesterday, and the tow truck guy put it down for more than what it was supposed to be just for the aggrivation. It was sooo funny.
oooooh. Went to pay the truck bill today (we're paying until the other guy pays) and he put a higher amount on the receipt than it was for so we can get that back when we sue him.
