Most likely. lol I just wonder how they worked up the nerve to go through with it. Doesn't look like it was of the "authorized" variety.
I didn't even or can't see a ramp. And the way they/he drives it off road, looks like it was a man made thing he decided to jump. He got some good air though. Sounds like he hit something in the air too. It was cool though.
I could see doing it though. If I saw a ramp set up near a creek. Or well this clear up that if I am a nut ball theory. But if NASCAR had on ramps. Id stuff the pedal to the floor in the Buick and try to merge in. The announcer says " Well we though to worst competitor for the day was when that Chevette tried to join in the race. But look Out. Here comes some nut in a Buick wagon."
lol I don't think I've ever seen a station wagon jump anything. Trucks, big cars, small cars, but no station wagons.
Playing GTA3 is a bad thing to do before going for a drive! I used to steal the bus since I worked as a bus driver in college and was playing just before I went to work. I was going down the road and had to change lanes and for a second I seriously thought to myself "it won't hurt me if I swipe this car out of my way..." That video rocks! I'm still baffled how he got enough speed to do the jump and get that much air, and the car doesn't look as bad as I'd expect either! I'd say the driver got VERY lucky on that one! And the crowd's reaction is priceless.
I think, I think it must be one of the man made things. how most city project for little rest stop n sitting areas seam built just for skate boarders. I think it was like close to a 45* cement ramp. Why he just popped right up in the air.
I was the passenger a few times :3gears: Its amazing how much work we will do to a field beater to keep it running. They had to weld braces on the shock towers after a few "landings" This pic is from 88-89 ,back when we didnt think to much about doing dumb things
Looks like the car had the shocks removed to get a little more air. ...uhh... I only know that 'cuz ummmm.... er... OK, look, Wagons DO fly but don't tell the missus.
Erik—Speaking of small towns in The Netherlands, have you ever visited the Zandvoort Circuit in the north? Supposedly Formula One will go there in lieu of having the Spanish Grand Prix next year.
I see. My wife’s Father was from Haarlem. We were thinking of going to the race, but I am concerned about rural roads into the track causing a big traffic jam.
