I Have Finally Finished It! And Turned Out Far Beyond My Expectations! Time To Enjoy It! It was sitting in garage with no motor ,front clip on july 10,2011-august 12 completed.This was a 71 skylark custom,with original 350. swapped eng with 70 riv gs 455, 72 gs turbo 400,original 342 10 bolt posi,sitched to bucket seats ,console.New front suspension with disc brakes added. Paint took 3 days and nights. 3 coats base,freehand fine lined,shot red first,covered red shot black, a few small touch-ups,shot 4 heavy coats of clear. it was scary as hell paintin this car! boy was it worth it though. have been asked many times if its real,and if its for sale. I wanna say thanks to cousin Dave for all his help especially with the paint. we actually are doing the same cars,TWINS! I also will be posting extra parts I have for sale!!
