Here is what I got for Christmas. This is the best present I could have gotten this year. This is my daughter, Kerstin. As many of you know, over a year ago, I turned her into the police inorder to get her into a drug rehab program and get off the drugs. She has completed the in-patient treatment and is now living at home again after a year in a group home!!! :TU:
Great news! I hope that she stays clean and that you can introduce her to my favorite drug......speed, at least 125 in the 1/4!
BEAUTIFUL girl, and the perfect gift. That is one hell of a smile there, and I am glad to see it. Tough times make tough people. Tough times go away, cause' tough people beat em' down. You tell her to keep fighting the good fight. Great post and I am REALLY glad to hear this.............
That really is the best gift anyone could get. I remember one of your old posts on the subject. I'm very happy to hear the good news. :TU:
That is an awesome gift One of the things I love about my line of work is helping others overcome "demons." We all have them, whether it is a phobia, an addiction, or a handicap. I'm not known for many "smiles" when I'm training 'em but they creep up everytime I see the inner strength rise to the top and another "demon" beat down. Tell your beautiful daughter the Marines send their congratulations. :TU: We are proud of her strength. Stay Strong and Semper Fidelis. Jim
great news greg. i hope that her will is very strong because, staying drug free is tough as tough can be. anyone who has quit the booze or cigarettes knows that the craving is always there !! good luck !
'Way to go, Kerstin! What a great way to start your New Year! I know your dad is so proud of you, he's probably busting! Keep up the good work - you know you have all of the Buick Community rooting for you! ShariB
Greg, Yahoo, Kerstin is home :TU: :TU: :TU: That is a great picture of her. Please tell her we are proud of her, to keep the faith & to stay strong. We are doing the happy Snoopy dance over here for her  Beth, Dana & Liam
Merry Christmas Yea Kerstin! We're proud of you !! We're sure it wasn't easy but we also knew you could do it ! Welcome home and we hope to see ya in June at the party !!  :TU:
Way to go Kerstin! You have friends you didn't even know about and we are all proud of you! Hang in there! - Bill
Kerstin I can tell you from personal experience that the road you've traveled is one of the hardest things to do in your life. I have not touched drugs in 11 years since my first daughter was born. I watched a few of my close friends die or end up in jail for long periods of time. I'm glad you made it and keep that smile going, it's catchy  Remember to hug your Dad every Day!!!!!
That is truly awesome, brings a tear to my eye. I've been through some of that with mine also and its definately trying times. I wish both you guys the best :TU:
Congrats! Kerstin, Congratulations! :TU:  :TU: I also know that your Dad is very proud of you. Greg, you'd better bring her out to Kearney so her adopted Buick family can meet her. That's if I don't meet her before then, possibly up at Scribner. Way to go Kerstin, and a very Happy New Year!!!!!!! P.D.
I think that has to be one of the best gifts a father can receive on Christmas. Greg, I wish everyone possessed as much strength and willpower as your daughter. Congratulations Kerstin!!
Awesome Post! Congratulations on your daughters return home. My wife and I are foster parents and have provided homes for over 20 girls similar to yours. Getting to go home is awesome and you have a fortunate family!
Hi Greg, Congratulations for hangin' in there. We wish the both of you the best year you've ever had for 2005! :TU: Harvey & Brenda
