Dale, this guy's got rocks in his head and CRACK in his pipe!!!!!!!!! It's at 34,000 and still hasn't met his reserve.I wonder if he know the economy is in the $hitter?
Its the wagon my parents never had:laugh: but I wish they did. I'd rather have something like that to haul the little ones around in than our minivan.
Well, reserve not met. Perhaps he is asking 35000 + ? Thats a lot of coinwhen the world economy is going down the toilet. Still, over here, we have 1971 Ford GTHO's going for 1/2 million + :eek2:
I agree . For this car to go this high he has a shill and at least one. really more than a Stage 1? Come on .uzzled: I have seen nice stage 1 cars bid much less
uzzled: ..... it becomes harder and harder to find a good preserved station wagon.... (most of them are derbied) and (NOS-) parts or repops you will hardly find I love those Wagons (mine today): Another issue that crossed my mind: Why is it that model year 71 (and not only Estate Wagons, but all GM B/C bodies) is more rare than 72 and upo No: I know production figures were lower in 1971, but that doesn't answer the non-availability nowadays IMHO I searched several years for a 71 (like the louvres!!), but without luck.
I did not say I did not like them.:TU: I just would not pay a whole lot for one. One of the great things about the big Buicks is that the prices are not that high.
Old Cars Price Guide lists a 71-72 3S Sta Wag. at 10,000 in #1 condition.I know it's only a guide but even if their off by 100% that's still only 20,000.Where in the hell does this guy think his wagon's worth almost 31/2 or 4 times that! Pass the CRACK pipe please. Tom
What the heck, CRACK for everyone!!!!! Seriously though, even a couple of years back when prices for muscle cars were topping out, I never saw anything like this....
As long as there is a reserve price, the bidding amount says nothing about what's the real market value of the car. The seller could ask to a few friends with eBay accounts to bid on it to almost reach the reserve. The seller could have a reserve of 1,000,000.00 $ and ask his friends to bid just below that amount...
