Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Thought I'd get this posted early because tomorrow many will be traveling for Thanksgiving. Please be careful driving there will be many people on the roads. And, too many of them will be in no shape for driving. Be aware and cautious of them. Don't be one of them or let anyone be.
Let us not forget what Thanksgiving (NOT "turkey day", I can't stand that) is all about and remember to say a prayer of Thanks for all we have been blessed with, and all who made this day possible. Thank all our Veterans and those still serving. And, reflecting on what we are thankful for, say a prayer for those less fortunate and those with no one to celebrate the Holidays with.
God Bless You, my Friends. Be Safe. Thank You for being a part of my life.

The more unsafe driving day would be Wednesday the night before Thanksgiving, international bar night when most of the bars will be packed and all the armature drinkers will be on the road! This is the night I try not to be on the road at all if I can help it.

    Happy TGD to all.

We went out to an annual get together of anyone who attended our high school. Surprisingly, not many cars on the road.
I hope everyone has safe travels.

Well Smokey you certainly have the important things in perspective that many forget.
We travelled 900 miles in last 1.3 Days. Pretty good considering and most drivers were respectable. Now to make it back to Pa safely

    Thanks for posting.

I was also surprised to see roads fairly quiet yesterday. I think many people travel earlier now that the entire week of school is off.

I heard that Tuesday is now the busiest travelling day of the year instead of the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. So I think you are right about people travelling earlier.
