Firstly, TA Performance sure does make some lovely aluminum heads. I also want to say how pleased I am with having chosen Gessler Head Porting for working my Stage 1 SE's. Im sure other sources are equally capable, but the quick turnaround and prompt communication from Greg is superb. I ordered GHP's level three jobs fully assembled - I havent had much more than a cursory look at the heads yet, but the first thing that impressed me was that hes able to get excellent flow numbers without overly enlarging the port cross sectional area, which means velocity stays high. All too often Ive seen the results of the bigger is better mentality and its obvious from the numbers and a look at the ports that the work being done is based on experience. Besides seeing what he did with a Buick GS on bias ply tires and exhaust manifolds (10.95 @ 126 mph) my decision to go to Greg was influenced by the positive feedback hes gotten right here at V8Buick. My only problem now is that itll be awhile before I get these things on the car...and thats just a shame. Devon, Thanks for the kind words! Give me an update on your car when you get it running with your new heads. If you send me pictures and info on your car, I can add you to the photo gallery on my web-site.
