a big thanks for those who have helped me along to get my buick up and running. i worked on her over the thanksgiving holiday. i installed our kitted carb, rebuilt alternator, as well as some small things like the oil, filters, and soforth....and finally got her started on friday evening. what a rush! saturday we got her out and washed about 30 years worth of dust off and took her for a short test drive. ill tell you, its the closest thing to commandeering a battle ship that i have ever done! everything did well although it did develop a nasty miss on saturday which wasnt there on friday. we are thinking new plugs and wires ought to do the trick. whats the point of this thread you might ask? heh, nothing really, just expressing thanks and how happy i am to start in on a new era of projects and have my car running! :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:
