You guys are awesome! Thanks to everyone who responded to my post "Anyone bought a car over the Internet?" Great stories and lots of good advice. I'll be in touch with some of you to get more info, permission to quote, etc. Not sure exactly when the article will be out, but it's for a new magazine called Musclecar Power. It's published by Tom Shaw, who was the editor of Musclecar Review before Primedia saw fit to discontinue it. Looks like it's gonna be a great magazine. Hi Dave! We're pretty well aware of what's going on with Musclecar Power Mag... Many of us sent in the $9.95 early last spring for the premier issue, which is yet to be released, but hopefully is coming out soon. We're really looking forward to this effort by Tom to get a good mag out to replace MCR. Are you working on other articles for Tom, or just this one so far?
Was it Tom Shaw who chose not to print the results of the Diabo's GSX smoking the Hemi in Canada? MCR set up that race, and the results were somewhat embarrassing to the hemi boys. If so, he can keep his magazine. I dumped MCR when they pulled that garbage. I don't need a magazine to tell me how great every other make of car is. I respect all of the other musclecars, but I want a rag that will print how great BUICKS are when they win!
