Well,everybody knows Jason and Larry,the Wizard,few know of Stacy,the Dent Man.He just went for a course to fix problems with carbs,all kinds.Anyway,I had a problem with the harness under the dash,20 years ago I knew all the wires and where they were supposed to be,now I forget what I ate last night,also I cannot stay under the dash more then five minutes .And I forget a lot over the years.I had asked Jason to help me fix those wires,he is a genius dealing with wiring harnesses.Stacy and Jason talked about helping me out.So they called me and came with a trailer to pick up my car.A month later,the car is done.I did have 2 bent valves,easily done by putting the pedal to the metal a few times.I do not want to go at length as to what these guy's did,but they worked pretty hard for quite a few weeks.I just got my car back,what a difference,A lot of off the line power,runs very smooth,love the way it runs and the way it handles.I want to thank these 2 guy's for doing this mass of work on my car,and what a job they did.In a smaller way,Larry the wizard did contribute to this effort and I also thank him for that.Well now,you know I want to thank you Stacy and Jason,I just want to show my appreciation and let you know this.Bruno.
Ive known Bruno since I was 17. I cant count how many times Bruno has helped me out over the years. Any time I needed a part, Bruno always came through. And more times than not, the part would include a gourmet lunch from Mrs Dipaola (Im over 50 years old and Im still uncomfortable calling her Stephanie!). So this is the least I could do to pay you back for the years of help and guidance you gave me. Bruno's GS is one fast SOB! I was impressed. Those Mopar guys are going to need bigger Hemi's! BTW...I didn't get a chance to see it after Stacy detailed it. I heard it came out nice. My thanks will be seeing you with it at Bellmore next week!
Thank you all you guy's for the good comments.Stacy did a fabulous job,not only detailing,but also discovering a little knocking noise coming from the engine.And also vibration at idle.So they [with Jason] took the heads off and found 2 bend valves.They had the heads fixed by a friend of Stacy,then they both went to town fixing wiring under the dash,putting the MSD 6AL in.they also detailed the interior and the vinyl top.It does look new now.Jason also detailed the dash,while Stacy did all the engine compartment.Every thing looks new.And the car runs like a devil.In first gear you cannot step on the gas without spinning out of control.I have not tested the second gear,too much wheel spin in first and this with 16 pds in the M T's.Again I would like to thank these guy's for doing all this for me,I wish I could do something to repay you back for all of the work you guy's did.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.Bruno.
Bruno .. I think you've done the Buick Community as a whole enough favors over the years that this is payback time for you .. I only wish I could have been part of it for all the help I've received from you over the years. Tell you what - I'll have beer in my cooler for both Jason and Stacy at the Nats anytime they want one .. and I dont drink !
