2 questions....best source for a stock , tight converter for a 4555gs-(the local shop who rebuilt my tranny stole my original and replaced the coverter with a mushy, soft piece of crap, which doesnt seem to engage fully)...also has anyone out there installed a gear vendor unit on a 70 skylark/gs?--Do--Is it really necessary to pound the daylights out of the transmission tunnel with a small sledge to get the OD unit to fit?----(this is what gear vendors suggests---yikes!)
