DEADMANSCURVE my first word : truck

my 65 was originally a 'three on the tree" car so the clutch linkage and pedal assy (saved it - amazing!) is not the issue i guess , i did trial fit my v-6 bellhousing on my 455 and it seemd ok . was i hallucinating or is the v6-350-455 stuff kinda' interchangeable ?? i see some big block 4-speed stuff for sale and a little more common . the th400 is probably the common sense direction to go , but who the hell ever goes that direction ! i was thinkin' that a nasty 350 / 4-speed in a lite car with 4:11's would be real -- well you know ---REAL ! any info/feedback/horror stories appreciated . thanks del

4 speeds rock, especially in a Buick. I always get the "cool, 4 speed car" when I cruise thru the local hot spots.
