George. The switch with the 2 yellows and 1 Black/with stripe. This is the plug under the dash of my Lark. It did not have a switch when I got it. The yellows are hot and are powered by the radio fuse. where does the black wire run to and exit the car to connect to the trans? I could not find any sign of it so I made and ran my own after mounting a switch and bracket from the Riv parts car.
The original set-up has the black wire w/white tracer going to the fuse box and on the engine side of the firewall the same wire went to the trans.....what I do is run a wire w/correct connector from a parts car through the speedo cable grommet in the firewall to the trans.....I usually zip tie to the speedo cable to prevent it from touching the exhaust.
Sorta what I did. Now that the Int is gutted I ran the wire inside the flat casing that runs on the floor and drilled a hole with a gromet in it and passed the wire through there then zip'd it to the speedo cable.
