Got the Skylark in 91 when I went to look at the bucket seats, for my 65 SS Impala. The guy wanted $40 for the seats. I asked how much for the car and he said just what I have in it, $175. Told him to put a carb. on it and have it running by Friday and I would be back with cash to get it. Bought the car and in 92 got a DUI. The car sat until 97 and was never started. One day in 97 went out and charged the battery and dumped some gas in the carb. and pow it fired right up. On March 11, 1998 bam got another DUI. So again the car has been sitting and has never been touch or started. So today I went and got a battery and about an hour and a half ago I put the battery in and dumped some gas in the carb. and pow it fired right up without a hitch. Never seen another car like it. :3gears: Now it's time to start tearing it all apart. The cars nickname now is "OLD FAITHFUL". :grin:
Yep, you're right can't even begin to count em. I would have to say not lucky for me but lucky for 1000's of people I met on the highway. March 11,1998 was the last one, went to treatment and the rest is history. :TU: And yes :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: now!
