I have a 66 Skylark GS. Someone took my temp knobs while I wsa parked at a car show. They've been hard to find. They are not the same as 67. Does anyone have these, or even one.

    Thanks

I have both styles, I think the 67 uses to ones with the round ball knobs on them, the 66 is a tapered style with lines cut in them, I have my car at work so I'll look tomorrow and be sure which one it is, but I do have both types.

I know which ones you need now, looked at mine, give me your zip, you pay the shipping and you can have them, I'm gonna give you the hole panel that goes in the dash with the controls on it so you can pull the knobs off, I hate to try cause I don't want to break them, let me know. :TU:

Packed up its 3 pounds, UPS ground is $4.36 Is the white 66 yours?...man its sharp and looks like a STRONG runner!!, I have been thinking about something and noticed your car has one on it.....what did you use for the tach on the hood? .... is that one from a Pontiac?:Do No:

James, yes the 66 is mine. It is a strong runner for a sweet street car! The hood tach was a feature installed by the previous owner who had a generic tach in that spot. I replaced it with a reproduction Buick tach from year one (from the 70's GSX's I think) Around $250 and it went south after a year. The replacement went south after about another year. some people tell me that theis type of hood tach doesn't like the pertronix type ignition that replaced the points. Anyway, so I disconnected it and left it in place to cover the hole for now. Installed an autometer tach on the column and it looks cool. I think when the car is repainted I'll have them cover the hole and eliminate the tach. It gets attention but I feel kind of funny having a non-functioning tach on the hood.

P.S. Let me know where to send the postage money. email me at TJK1947@AOL.COM

    Thanks again for your help.
