Tank fuel pump removal?

    69 Riv in tank fuel pump. What is the best/simplest way to remove without special tools and without damaging

    Tap the locking ring around with a brass drift and small mallet. Disconnect the electrical wires and pull the pump.

    Got it thanks. I did one “in car” as a teenager and mangled it. This one came out easy

    Just be advised that the "plug" on the sender is non removable. There is a harness plug downstream of the sender
