Can anyone tell me where I can find the rubber gasket that goes around the tail light itself on a 55 Roadmaster? Not the lense gaskets, but the one that goes between the body and the bezel. Come to think of it, I need the lense gaskets as well.

I assume you mean on a 72 Skylark or GS taillight gaskets can be bought from CARS and other suppliers and the surrounds I think they sell them also or you can go to the source Kent Brooks Someone here can probably get you contact info. NOS are difficult to find

I am selling a pair of rubber surrounds. The rubber part is in very good shape. The metal backing on the back is gone(rusted away). I stand corrected - 2/3 -3/4 of the metal is intact. I didn't realize the metal is buried in the rubber and these should ok.This could still be mounted in place I believe very well. All but 2 studs look to be there and are good. $40 + shipping. Payment to junitis@twmi.rr.com as a gift.

Sorry for the confusion. When I posted this i forgot to mention the car it was for and I thought I hit esc. quick enough for it not to post. I ended making a dual post, one with year and model and one without though.

Apparently, David combined your posts. But, before he did; I guessed from your user name (322) you had a 55 or 56 (if 54, you wouldn't need bezel gaskets). Glad, you found them. Take great care when installing the gaskets. They tend to split. I don't really have any tips, other than; take your time and don't over tighten the nuts. If, you need to replace the pressed in taillight bulb socket; NAPA has a pig tail socket that will work. It is not an exact match, but I was able to make it work.
    Good Luck :TU:
