Tach Question

Does anyone know if the hood tach (Poston repro) will get a signal from an HEI unit the same way it would from the + coil side? Can I just plug it in the designated tach slot in the cap? Can I run the hood and dash tach off the same signal?

 

Should work from the HEI TACH terminal fine. Should be able to run both of them.

 

Thanks George. Hooked it up just like that and presto, hood tach and dash both working perfectly. Of course the repro hood tach is about 150 rpm on the low side of correct. Typical.
