ta valve covers

    hope i have posted this in the right place. i have a set of new ta valve covers in red. just wondering if i strip the paint off would these buff to a mirror finish and is this some thing i could do with an heavy duty polishing wheel. cheers kev

    Kev, as long as they are aluminum, they will polish up once the paint is off. I cant say exactly what to use, but you can do it.

    If you got the red covers from us, it's a powder coat, so stripping them may be a little tough. If they are satin covers that were painted red, you should be able to strip and polish them with no problem.
