He is correct. 17 inch Boyds 17X8. I wonder if the coating would be affected by bending them with a floor jack?
if the coatings are ceramic.. it will break the glaze on them and they will immediately start to rust..... rambler used to have ceramic coatings on their muffler system and it was good untill you put a clamp on them....then they rusted out at the connection points.....did not last as long as a regular system.....
mine didnt you cant tell there were pulled up its a soft bend.i dont think he would have done it. but... you never know
Hey Doc, Have you ever used Tech line ceramic coatings. Nice stuff and you can apply it with a airbrush gun for touchups on the car. i paid $50 a QUART but well worth it. For the DIY guy it is nice to coat your headers with and use the heat of the heaters to bake it on. i prebaked @500f than shoot , install and heat cycle the engine
No,,, actually,,, rambler used the same stuff as what comes on porcelain cook ware and when you were R&R ing the stuff it would flake off and get in your eyes... and down your collar ect.... hated working with it....and ,, get this,,, rambler had a LIFETIME warranty on it... which meant the mechanic had to do the job for about half of what it would normally pay.... hated that too..... :spank::spank:
