I just purchased a TA stage I 350 intake manifold and I wonder if it requires a special TA gasket or the stock NAPA gasket would do

Allthough some may frown on it, I've been using the stock valley pan with an aluminum intake for years. No leaks ever. Just use the correct sealants and you're done.

A gasket is a gasket... just run the napa one, use a little sealant around the ports... you'll be money

    Ditto!

I even RE-USED the stock type steel shim gasket. Just once though!

It's kind of a pain to cut out the center of the steel shim and use the soft gaskets anyway. We don't want to run without the oil splash shield that the steel gasket provides, so it does take some work to do this correctly.
