TA hyd roller lifters

    Has anybody had any issues with these lifters collapsing? I guess Morel changed the design a couple of years ago because there were issues.

    Well, my engine was built about 3 years ago. Haven't had any collapsed lifters.

    Installed mine in 2011 and have 40,000+ miles on them without issue.

    No Ed, I have used at least a dozen sets now.. The "Street Performer" series. With the proper grind profiles, there is no issue.

    They also make a Hi-RPM racing series, and that development might be what your talking about. That series of lifters has a close tolerance fit between the body and plunger, to increase the rpm range of the lifter. Also helps prevent lifter pump down (aka crash) with aggressive lobe designs.
