I picked up a set of 4 about 4 or 5 years ago for about $75. I hope when I finally put them in they work. ou: I have no idea if that's a good price or not. I just know I had the money at the time and I wanted them. Seemed sort of fair since they are rare nowadays.
WOW $75 a set I guess I stole a set earlier this year at a swap meet for $5 each I need to find some sets!! :Brow:
I'm not as up on these as my father was, but he used to be able to tell what were the original ones for the 55-7 Chevs he used to restore. Just because it's a "T3" doesn't mean it's original for your year. How do you know the difference??? I don't know. I'm running halogens... they keep me from smashing them into objects and taking the rest of the car with. ou:
Check the old threads. I posted a link to a company that sells repro T3 headlights correct for the 68-71 GM cars. The cost was around $100. The headlights are made to todays lighting standards and are much brighter than the 30 year old lights.
Here is some information from the BCA forum in determining the correct style T3. Enjoy! PS - I run halogens as well - it's good to be able to see at night ou:
