Which cams did you buy? How did you determine they were cut wrong? If you have a problem with a product from TA you can call them and they will take care of it. As far as cams go they don't actually grind their own cams but have a supplier. I'm sure Mike will work with you to make things right. Good luck and let us know how things work out.

Back in 99 I bought a cam through my engine builder from them. It was cut wrong, I contacted them and after much a do, I was treated like dirt and ended up buying a cam from the builder through Torque Tech. NO rebate or even an apology from TA for the defective cam, they said not their problem, they didnt make it and its the builders problem. As for the Torque Tech cam, No problem with that cam. I had brought that problem up on another Buick board that I frequented at the time and it was like using God's name in vane. I was chatised in every way by quite a few members. They (TA)also faulted my engine builder(who by the was was PEE GEE) as not doing his job right. Needless to say the builder put in the other cam and no trouble. I talked to TA and the attitude at the time let a lot to be desired. Once again this was in 99

Similar story here. Bought a cam from them in the mid 90's for a 350 I was putting together. Can't remember the number, but was a small cam that had a very slight lope. Not!!! The thing had a huge lope. No vacumn for the brakes and no bottom end. I had several mechanics look at it to see if I was the problem and they all said I had chosen the wrong cam. I got tired of the project. No time to tear the engine down and no money for parts, so I never even botherd to call them. But, I am sure it was not the cam I ordered! Now I am nervous to even think about putting a cam in after that deal.:Dou:

About 10 years ago I ordered a cam from Kenne-Bell for my 425. It was a re-grind, and was not advertised as such, and it was also .006" out of round and the base circle had around .004" runout. They sent me a refund without a hassle but I don't remember if I had to pay for shipping.

I got my latest cam from Carmen and I have no complaints about it.:bglasses:
