I was wondering if it is worth it to get a T/A Stage 1 intake?
Theres one around here that I can get pretty cheap.

    Thanks:3gears:

Depends on your engine combo, all else being equal it is roughly 30 LBS. lighter than a stock intake!:Smarty:

    Engine Combo

The engine that is in the car is a stock 350 2BBL with dual exaust. It is a 1970 engine. I was also wondering what carb I should puton it. I have two thermoquad's at my house one is a 800cfm and the other one is a 850cfm race carb

    Thanks Erik

Edelbrock 650 worked for me with the intake and a mild Comp cam.

no no no, a 350 need a 750 atleast. a 650 may work but this is not a chevy motor. It needs some more cc's

  8. 650cfm is fine if you aren't concerned with WOT performance. But, Buick put 750cfm carbs on the 350-4 starting in 1970 I believe. If you are doing the TA intake, and dual exhaust, do yourself a favor and use a 750 Qjet. Your 800 TQ might be ok.

A 400 would work, any carb will work but a 750 will work better.
