Finally got around to buying a System 1 oil filter for my 455. Do I need to install the anti drain back valve in it???:Do No: This is a race only motor if that makes a difference. Just looking for a yes or no answer.
    Thanks,

    Tony,
I installed the anti drain back valve on mine one oil change. I saw absolutely no difference upon start up. When I called them about it, they told me I wouldn't need it, but they would ship me one anyway. They told me that it adds some restriction to the filter. I've run my System1 without it for 3 years.

Thanks for the reply Larry!:TU: I also was told by System 1 to leave it out, but I just wanted to get some feedback.:Comp: .
    Thanks again,
    Tony
