i just aquired an older allen syncrograph (model 31-02).it is a table top model.of course it did not come with a manual.would like to find out how to use it.it has a 120v power cord that runs the motor that turns the distributor, but noting else seems to work.do i have to supply a twelve volt souce to the distributor to get the tach & dwell guages to work ?there is one 16 guage wire with a clip that comes out of the machine.would this go to 12v+
at distributor & ground through dist housing ?
sorry no pictures, spending my $$ on buick parts & tools.
    thanks in advance.

ps:would also like to know how to wire this for hei dist.
