Switch Pitch Converter

    This is all very interesting but are they availble today? Do I have to search the Bone yards for such a item?
    How would I know if I had such a item?
    And when were they produced?

    Sure they are available. Tri Shield Performance has them, So does PAE, and Poston Enterprises.

    If my memory serves me right weren't these transmissions used in the '70's?

    Late 60's, in some Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Cadillacs, and I believe Rolls Royce?

    65-67 only..

    12" converters only in the ST300 trans, installed behind small motors in the mid size cars.

    ST 400 with 13" converter in the big cars.
