I just brought home an 87 Somerset (freebie!). The car has a full digital dash that has me thinking all those expensive hair-pulling bad ideas that new toys tend to do to me. :laugh: I'd love to set up those digitals in my 66 project truck. I'm guessing its a no-go project, but would love if I could make it work. I'm guessing the setup is the guage pod itself has no electronics of its own and just displays whatever it is the main computer tells it to? If that's the case, couldn't it be fed a signal from a different source? Anyone familiar with the digital dashes? Is there any hope for a retro-fit? Know of any companies making adapter packages? And yeah, I know custom kits are available specifically for the dash in my truck, have the correct sending units, blah blah blah. But what fun would that be? :laugh: And then it wouldn't have that awesome little LED Trishield glowin' back at me! hahaha
