What information is there on the Buick nailhead that had a camshaft in it that reversed the flow of the heads and was supercharged?
That thing has been around since the mid 60's.... I cannot imagine why anybody would try such a thing.... it would be a very expensive thing to do.... it did run but not very well... the best mods to nailheads that performed has been 6;71 jimmy blowers or turbos....
Does anyone know what happened to that engine? Any details on the ,parts used? Would be cool to try to duplicate it.
Don't you mean those engines - plural. I've got pictures on an old computer of one with a top mounted blower - it looks like the blower is a spider with eight legs reaching around to the exhaust ports. The other one is a front mounted crank driven blower. Ed
All I see is twin turbos where the intake goes and fuel injection on the exhaust side. Log style intake on each bank.maybe controlled with a mega squirt setup....
