Anyone here ever have any dealing with Patio Enclosures, Inc.
they are supposidly one of the largest mfg.of sunroom additions in the country. large factory in ohio. distributosr all over the country.
I will tell you more later! but it looks liked Im going to get taken to the cleaners by them. I had their rep come out , lay out and price a sunroom for me, this was after I reasearched this project for about 2 months and desided that they where the company that had what i wanted. after reveiwng the plans and contract i desided to go with it. gave them a deposit for half. work to start the following week when i got back from vacation.
well that was 3 weeks ago and I havent seen anything.
tried for a week straight to contact the rep. no answer at the office or his cell.
I finally called the corprate office in ohio, and they told me that they have had trouble before with this particular rep. but it was not their problem.
I told them , Oh its gonna be your problem, your company name is on my contract.
now they tell me they are pulling the franchise away form this rep.
so far I have contacted the attourny general and the local law.
corprate is next to get a letter from me either demanding my money back or completing my room as my contract states.
I will let you know what happens.
any advise ?? I thought i picked a reputable company and i get boned anyway! anyone else ever have any dealing with them?
    thanks for letting me vent

  3. the contract will hold and the company can do nothing but honor it. same thing i had with a furnace to be put in. rep came and put in a price, shot down everyone else. and the sme type of furmace so i went for it. local rep lives about 1 mile away. anyways he lost his dealers with them and so i went to the company. told them what was going on and they said its his problem not theres and to sue that indevidual. well i did just that. the rep was not held acountable but the factory was. it went for about a year and with the money i gave i could not get one put in so the old one limped along. the company had to hold to the contract send someone from another state with that model and completly finish the job for the original price that was quoted to me. and i strung it along just as long as i could as well. they brought the furnace the first time they came and droped it off, gave me a call and said they wanted what was left. well that cost them some more. called the atterny that helped me right away and they where back in 2 days instaling it. and the atterny said he sent them a $200 bill again for him talking to them over the phone. you'll have fun with this one but be patient. you'll get there

I USED to work for a sunroom company trust me yer not the only one that got tucked believe me the way things get solved is to close up shop and decide to change yer company name the president of the former company is still getting sued and paying for "screwups" our rooms started at 12K most expensive one i ever helped build was 49,000K big bank good luck and eventually you'll get yer money back don't be surprised if it's months/years from now ....good luck.. i almost went to work for patio enclosures glad i didn't!!
