My 69 Lark has a 350 Chev engine and Summit transmission (according to the seller). He said that the Summit trans does not come with a kickdown mechanism, is that true? If not, is there a kit that can be installed? It currently has no kickdown at all.
According to Summit, the valvebody is intended to be downshifted manually. There is no provision for the kickdown cable. Read the instructions attached below.
