stripped out screws

    when you strip a screw head out, like i usally do, heres a trick. im a crewcheif on blackhawks in the army and when we jack a screw up on a helicopter, we use screw powder(aka comet cleaning powder). dip you screw driver in water, then stick it in the powdered comet, and BAM, screw comes out.

    I may have to try that on the door latch screws I cannot get out.

    Sure wish I woulda known that when I was taking off my grill and bumpers. I'll have to try that on the trunk though!

    Better yet is a dab of valve grinding compound on the tip of the screwdriver. This stuff really bites.
