Last April I went to an Alll American Sunday at a 50mile away circuit. The would have a shooutout at the straightaway at the track, with no trackbite. I took the 72 out of the garage, on it Cooper Cobra streettires. Normally I would go on dragradials, but I had none. So check this link and see how well (or not) me and my 72 hold up against the guys who had dragtyres. The silver pontiac, the corvette the nascar pickup all had dragtyres. that was a lot of passes you made. i wish i could see that at a track around here... even though the only close ones are in jersey for me. most we ever get is four or five in a day. if lucky.
The most passes I ever saw was at cecil county during test and tune. I lost count after 10. But this guy would basically go right back to the staging lanes after he made a run. The only time he didn't make a run was probably when he was refueling or was eating a meal.

Tnx, it was kinda fun beating a ZR1 corvette with dragtires, with a buick on streettires. All the runs I made I crossed the finishline in 3th gear, due to the streettires lack of traction at the start you have to shift from first to second gear pretty quick. Would you like to see more? The most passes I have ever made, were 42 passes in a 2day event, lost 2 runs, won 40. And broke one rockershaft otherwise I would have made more runs. Dude, YOU ROCK !!! There is a definate art to launching your car on street tires ... I've gotten a best of 1.84 on my regular tires and a best of 1.74 on my drag radials BFG's suck BTW - get some sticky Mickey's
Here the footage of a DEMO dragrace at Formula 1 Circuit Franchorchamps in Belgium. This is the place I made 42 runs in a 2 day event. I don't have footage of all the runs, but still alot of them! Got the timeslips :kodak: You could take passengers with you if you liked. As long if there were seatbelts and a helmet for the passengers onboard. So I took my wife for a few runs and some friends that came to watch. Beat that Charger and many other cars with 2 people in the car! It even got that far that 99% of the cars, was not willing to run against us anymore. Happend a few times that we were standing alone in line, because the other cars in the other lane kept back.
