I have been in the process of trying to restore the interior. I have been looking into the GM Strato Bucket Seats that were original to these cars. A restored pair sells on ebay for $1400.00, worn out seat cores sell for about $200.00 a pair. I first found a pair of seats from a 1969 GTO, these are the black ones in the pictures, purchased for $200.00. A few months later I found the white pair from a 1969 Chevelle for $200 as well but they did not come with head rests. I decided to work with what I had and swap the headrests & trim parts from the GTO seats to the Chevelle seats and to dye everything black. I have one seat completed and the second is not far behind. All I did was separate the upper & lower seat frames so I could clean them & paint them with Duplicolor Vinyl & Carpet dye. I cleaned the plastic trim pieces and coated them with Duplicolor spray on Chrome, it isn't perfect but it looks OK for my needs. Here are the before and after pics.

Wow! Nice restoration and you saved a ton of money by using a little elbow grease. That leaves extra $$ for more buick parts!

Thanks Randy. The resto on the whole car is almost complete. The extra $$$ will eventually go towards a posi rear.
