    What's a 1970 straight bench seat worth?

It's covered in new vinyl (correct 1970 waffle pattern), including headrests.

The seat is mint and only needs to be bolted in.

    Marco,
    Is it from a convertible?

This was the seat that originally came with my car when I purchased it.

You couldn't order a black notch-back (armrest) bench seat in a convertible in 1970 so the car came with a straight bench seat. I like the armrest (very comfortable), so I looked for a notch-back seat. I bought my present seat from BBSam when he was converting his GS to a bucket seat interior. I even lucked out because it was black, in the correct pattern, and in great condition :TU:

The front seats should be the same for both the hard top and convertible. I believe it is just the back seat that is different.

Marco, does it have the headrests?

Yes. The seat is complete. Bolt it in your concours car (provided you have a 158 trim code) and go :)

Someone is interested in purchasing this seat and I'm looking for a fair market value.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Jeff,

You are correct..it's the back seat that I am looking for, my Buick is a convertible so I am limited to convertible only.
    Thanks,

Marco, with a new seat cover costing around $280, and then you factor in any hardware, labor to recover, and the value of the seat itself., I would think $300 to $325 would be pretty fair.

    Just my opinion,

    Jeff

The bigger question is how can it be shipped from New Jersey to Arizona? Anyone have any experiece in shipping something this large? I spoke with Marc on the phone about it and we're not really sure about packing and shipping it.
