OK, anyone know where I can get a set of stock type 1" sway bar bushings? These need to fit in the original brackets that came with the car (1970 GSX).
Scott I think original was 15/16. Many places sell them --PST, Kanter, perhaps NAPA are some. They are sold in small incement sizes. I have seen some with grease fitting which may be a good idea with poly.
Jim, thanks you are right the bar is 15/16" I just got it back from being blasted. I can find the replacement bushing / bracket kits without too much trouble, its finding the replacement stock type bushing for the stock brackets thats proving to be more of a problem. I think I'll try NAPA for the heck of it and se what they got.
Stock rubber tupe bushings for factory swaybar is GM P/N 371773 or TRW P/N 1155. Hope that helps. later Tim
