1971 GS and also 72 GS convertibles had these style door panel emblems. Don't want repros. Must be decent shape.

    Thanks

I've got a set of 71 GS door panels, but I doubt you'd be interested in the emblems. I know one has some pitting. Curious though, why not repro's?

Hi Andy, thanks...I'm not sure how much a guy can re-finish them...pitting is probably no good. Could you send me pics of both? ritc1@shaw.ca

I have a set of repros here, they look like they were chewed out by a starving rat. Junk. Wish I had looked at them when i first bought them years ago or would have returned them. Oh well. I hear there are some good ones out there, but without being able to see them first, I'm not gonna keep buying them up in the hopes of getting a good set!!

I'll try and get a couple better pics tonight if I can.

OK, thanks....just so I can see what I'm dealing with, they might work out fine.

    Appreciate it!

I bought repos from Poston and they were fine . The only diference I could find was the pins were a little short . This caused me to have to cut away a little material off the back of the panel with an exacto blade . They worked fine and are now in a 72 Stage 1 convertable in the Canadian cold !

Problem is, they all keep changing suppliers, so you never know what you will get. And yes you can return them if you don't mind paying the postage both ways, plus import duty and taxes and all the rest (bonus of living in Canada)....so I think I'd rather go with used originals and refurb them. They are good solid metal so should be able to bring them back...might even have to have the top surface milled again if the pits aren't too deep.

Where is that vert located???
