Hey guys...just checking in. Sold the Rivi about 9 months ago. Been working on a 54 Dodge. Ready to sell it and get back into a Buick! I feel like I've been unfaithful. It's finally killing me!

Anyhoo...trying to rid myself of this Mopar. There's a 1950 Jetback not too far from me right now I need to get my hands on.
I've been researching my butt off lately trying to figure out what to do with it,(if this damn Dodge would sell) and I think the battle plan is to drop it on an early 70s Rivi frame.

Anybody have any pointers? I've been digging, and have found minimal info. One thing I read said to cut the boattail down to just the floors and firewall. But past that...I'm stuck.
Not sure wether or not the jetback even has floors....so the rivi floors might be the solution! Who knows though. I'm just pre-planning and day dreaming for now......

    More to come

Everything I am about to explain is meant in good humor.

First off the reason for your problems derive from becoming a traitor to the Buick name and mentioning Mopar and Dodge in a manner of favoritism as it relates to the loss/sale of a buick.
Second, a jetpack wont do anything for a buick. Your research has been a problem cause when you google 1950 JETBACK you get only jetpacks.

Your solution looks like a dose of buicks of all forms. Maybe find one and rub yourself all over the hood. Mind the buttons and beltbuckle. Make sure someone is there to record said actions to witness the change in your luck. Please post said video and the subsequent owners reaction upon catching you.

And that's why I love this forum....good humor.

The first Rivi had to go. It was a thorn in my side. And possibly cursed.
Mopar...I'm still slightly ashamed. I definitely didn't sell the Rivi FOR the Dodge...it was just too good of a deal.

Jetback...fastback....sedanette....they all aren't helping me find info.
I may have to fly blind on this one.
All I know is I'm gonna combine two of my favorite things in this world...a big toothy 1950 grill and a 455!!
